I wish this helpful for you You should use List in this scenario.
Declare a List of type Atleta in your class and then use it, as you said that number of items are dynamic not fixed:
code :
List<Atleta> atletas = new List<Atleta>();
 Atleta atleta = new Atleta();
 atleta.nomes = txtName.Text;
 atleta.codigos = Convert.ToInt32(txtCode.Text);
 atleta .peso = Convert.ToDouble(txtWeight.Text);
 atleta.altura = Convert.ToDouble(txtHeight.Text);
 ...................
 ...................
 ...................
 atletas.Add(Atleta);

I hope this helps you . Objects are passed by reference by default. There is no reason to pass or assign the $parent by reference. So this should be sufficient:
code :
abstract class MainClass {

    function __construct($parent){
        $this->parent = $parent;
        $this->init();
    }
object(ChildClass)#3 (1) {                // <--- the same element
    ["parent"]=>
    object(ParentClass)#1 (2) {
      ["parent"]=>
      object(stdClass)#2 (0) {
      }
      ["child"]=>
      object(ChildClass)#3 (1) {          // <--- the same element
        ["parent"]=>
        *RECURSION*
      }
    }
  }
object(ParentClass)#1            // 1
  object(stdClass)#2             // 2
  object(ChildClass)#3           // 3
    object(ParentClass)#1        // 1
      object(stdClass)#2         // 2
      object(ChildClass)#3       // 3
        // what would be here? right, object(ParentClass)#1 again

like below fixes the issue In general, it's better to avoid functions that have side effects, e.g. change their arguments. If your function is supposed to create something, just return this "something":
code :
// good way

function mkArray(xml, tag) {
   var store = [];
   // populate store...
   return store;
}

myStore = mkArray(xml, tag);
// worse, but possible

function mkArray(xml, tag, store) {
   // populate store...
}

myStore = [];
mkArray(xml, tag, myStore);

around this issue You need to initialize the SelectCommand.. it is null at the time you're setting properties on it:
code :
SqlDataAdapter adbtr = new SqlDataAdapter();
adbtr.SelectCommand = new SqlCommand("SELECT * FROM Select_gallery_names_FN()");
adbtr.SelectCommand.CommandType = CommandType.Text;

code :
 var model= new YourViewModel();
 return View(model);
