Any of those help I made type and severity non-static, and it seems to be working fine. I used the following code, and I see both type and severity in the serialized output.
code :
public class MyException extends RuntimeException
    private String type = null;
    private String severity = null;

    public String getType() {
        return type;

    public void setType(String type) {
        this.type = type;

    public String getSeverity() {
        return severity;

    public void setSeverity(String severity) {
        this.severity = severity;

    public MyException(String message) {
MyException exc = new MyException("Here goes my exception.");

Hope this helps I found a solution using JMS. First of all, install JMS. You can find details in this URL: https://jmsyst.com/libs/serializer
After that, modify the class like this;
code :
 * @ORM\Table(name="sample_table")
class UserTable
     * @ORM\Column(type="integer")
     * @ORM\Id
     * @ORM\GeneratedValue(strategy="AUTO")
    private $id;

     * @ORM\Column(type="string")
    private $userName;

     * @ORM\Column(type="string", nullable=true)
    private $fullName;

     * @VirtualProperty
     * @SerializedName("extraField")
     * @return string
    public function getExtraField(){
        return "EXTRA_FIELD";

$serializer = SerializerBuilder::create()->build();
$jsonContent = $serializer->serialize($user, 'json');

return new JsonResponse($jsonContent, 200, array(), true);

it should still fix some issue Using Gson, you have a couple of options to the best of my knowledge.
1. Using Transient
code :
data class Foo(
    @Transient val a: Int,
    val b: Int)
val gson = GsonBuilder()
data class Foo(
    val a: Int,
    @Expose val b: Int)
val gson = GsonBuilder()
object : ExclusionStrategy() {
  override fun shouldSkipField(field: FieldAttributes): Boolean {

  override fun shouldSkipClass(clazz: Class<*>): Boolean {

hope this fix your issue Hi I would like to figure out how once an object is serialized how to map the fields in the POST API model? , This solves your problem.
code :
List<ProductSQL> myObjectList = new List<ProductSQL>();
using (SqlCommand command = new SqlCommand(query, connection))
    var reader = command.ExecuteReader();
    if (reader.HasRows)
        while (reader.Read())
            ProductSQL myObject = new ProductSQL();
            myObject.sku = reader["sku"].ToString();
            myObject.description = reader["description"].ToString();
    var JsonResult = JsonConvert.SerializeObject(myObjectList);

/* Program Initialization Now need to map the products to their respective fields from the SQL Database to the API*/

Console.WriteLine("Post Articles To API");
HttpResponseMessage response2;
foreach(ProductSQL product in myObjectList.ToList())
    Product NewProduct = new Product();
    NewProduct.sku = product.sku;
    NewProduct.title = product.title;
    NewProduct.description =product.description;
