will be helpful for those in need Authentication is managed at a database level. When you try to connect to the system using a database, mongo actually checks for the credentials you provide in the collection .system.users. So, basically when you are trying to connect to "test", it looks for the credentials in test.system.users and returns an error because it cannot find them (as they are stored in admin.system.users). Having the right to read and write from all db doesn't mean you can directly connect to them.
You have to connect to the database holding the credentials first. Try:
code :

wish help you to fix your issue I know that it sounds weird but AFAI remember you should use the UseDefaultCredentials = false before setting Credentials. change your code to:
code :
client.UseDefaultCredentials = false;
client.Credentials = new System.Net.NetworkCredential(From, Password);

To fix the issue you can do I have a Bitnami MEAN instance running on EC2. After much finagling, I've been able to successfully connect to the DB using the local shell. I created authenticated users with all of the permissions necessary to access the data, and when I run the below code -- I am able to access the DB with no problem. , I was facing the same issue.
The problem for me:
code :
mongo --version
mongod --version

this will help The issue here was that user_id=" has to be encoded in the request header as well as all the other oauth_* parameters. So I had to change this section:
code :
var params = {
    "user_id": twitterId, // <- add here
    "oauth_version": "1.0",
    "oauth_consumer_key": consumerKey,
    "oauth_token": authToken,
    "oauth_timestamp": timestamp,
    "oauth_nonce": nonce,
    "oauth_signature_method": "HMAC-SHA1"
};

it helps some times Per several issues in the github repository (see here and here) it looks like using this library with authentication is totally broken. Per the second link, most people seem to be wrapping the official library with a promise via something like promisify, bluebird, or a thin custom wrapper.

Hope that helps It could mean two things:-
Your krb5.conf is misconfigured Your tomcat machine is on a realm which does not have a kdc
