seems to work fine Check jdeserialize . It has a command line mode, but also a reasonably well documented API. Regarding automatically re-serializing into XML? I don't think so. There are just too many ways of doing it. You will probably need to go through this as 2 separate steps. jdeserialize can be helpful in reverse engineering the classes (producing source java code), especially when this is required by many XML serialization tools.
Now, if the original classes did not use the default serialization mechanism (by overriding readObject or similars) or did use data obfuscation/encryption techniques (like wrapping objects in javax.crypto.SealedObject and/or java.security.SignedObject), then your chances of success are fewer and fewer.

like below fixes the issue No. All these answers are wrong.
The classes don't need to exist at both sides if you use the RMI codebase feature. You can set up a Web server to host the JAR files and set -Djava.rmi.server.codebase= to define where those classes are available as a list of URLs of those JAR files. You set that at either the server or the client or both depending on who is going to be sending classes that the other side doesn't have. Then RMI annotates those classes with those URLs so the target knows where to get them, and downloads them as needed.
Is there a java library which can find the binary delta between 2 object instance's serialized state

wish helps you I would use a library like kryo (https://code.google.com/p/kryo/wiki/V1Documentation) or Sqisher java-object-diff from Daniel Bechler. The latter is suitable for Beans, that is, you require get and set methods for each variable. kryo is more flexible and very fast (https://github.com/eishay/jvm-serializers/wiki). Search for kryo and Delta to find more information. To make use of the delta functionality you have to use kryo version 1 and kryonet.

wish of those help I am going to write multiple objects to a file and then retrieve them in another part of my code. My code has no error, but it is not working properly. Could you please help me find what is wrong about my code. I read different codes from different websites, but none of them worked for me! , Why not serialize the whole list at once?
code :
FileOutputStream fout = new FileOutputStream("G:\\address.ser");
ObjectOutputStream oos = new ObjectOutputStream(fout);
oos.writeObject(MyClassList);

I wish did fix the issue. I have a ArrayList of Objects. Need to find if that list of Objects has an Object of a particular Class of interest and retrieve it. Is there any built in function or other utilities in Java which can retrieve this Object directly. Please note I am looking to avoid looping using iterator. , A Java 8 aproach could be:

seems to work fine As malinator mentionned, it is bad practice to concatenate serialized objects in a single file, they should be contained in a Collection.
If you do not have access to the code producing the file, there can be 2 situations :
