Hope this helps Look at the API entry for Intent. You've got a load of possible data types you can enter, not the least of which is Parcebles, Bundles, and Serializable. If you really want simple object marshalling I would convert your beans to JSON and put it as a String, then convert it back to a POJO on the receiving end.

To fix this issue You mean retrieving parameters of the executed intent itself?
As of now, there is still no way to do that.

I wish this help you You should check the documentation for each app you're interested in supporting. They should have it laid out somewhere. If they don't, they might not support explicit intent extras.
For example, Navigon has their options laid out here(found by searching "android navigon intent"):
java.lang.SecurityException: Permission Denial: starting Intent { act=android.intent.action.MAIN cat=[android.intent.cat

java.lang.SecurityException: Permission Denial: starting Intent { act=android.intent.action.MAIN cat=[android.intent.cat

Hope this helps The issue was with Launcher selection in Android Studio. To improve testing speed of application module there was selected other Activity as Launcher(in run properties) than specified in manifest.xml. Strange that it worked even on emulator..
The solution is simply to change the Launcher to the one set in AndroidManifest.xml

I hope this helps . Here's a question that might help you!
I don't know how you open your app from the browser, but if you are using an intent like this:
code :
 <a href="intent://whatever/#Intent;scheme=myapp;package=com.what.ever.myapp;end">Do Whatever</a>
 <a href="intent://whatever/#Intent;scheme=myapp;package=com.what.ever.myapp;S.mycode=112233code;end">Do Whatever</a>
Bundle extras= getIntent().getExtras();
if (extras != null){
    String mycode= extras.getString("mycode");
